Scott Arellano
President/Owner
Scott Arellano has over 25 years’ experience in the fire protection industry with over 15 years municipal Building and Fire Code administration experience. Scott started his career in the US Navy serving on the USS Carl Vinson as a fire protection system specialist and Gold Eagle Flying Squad team member. Scott has served in both municipal and private fire protection industry and is the President and Owner of Fire Code Consultants Northwest. Scott studied Fire Science and Fire Service Administration at Idaho State University and is a licensed fire sprinkler fitter, ICC certified fire & building code plans examiner, field inspector and Certified Fire Marshal.
Tom Walsh

​Tom Walsh has over 45 years’ experience in the fire protection and fire service industry. Tom started his career as a fire protection system specialist where he maintained and serviced fixed and portable fire extinguishing systems. Tom retired from the fire service as a Senior Deputy Fire Marshal from Santa Clara County Fire Department after 20 years of municipal service. Tom has served in both municipal and private fire service industry and currently is a fire protection system and building plan review specialist at Fire Code Consultants Northwest. Tom is a ICC certified fire code plans examiner and field inspector. Tom has a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Prevention Technology and a Master's Degree in Emergency Services Administration.

With over 45 years of fire fighting service experience and 19 years specializing in fire code enforcement, Tom brings a wealth of fire protection system expertise and community service experience to our team. Tom currently holds certifications from ICC as fire inspector 1 & 2, NAFI Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator, and IAAI Certified Fire Investigator. Tom brings a deep passion to serve the community and make a positive difference.
